HEAVY VEHICLE REGISTRATION ASSESSMENT SCHEME

Mechanics - PROCHECK Automotive

PROCHECK Automotive is accredited for HVRAS inspections.

The Heavy Vehicle Registration Assessment Scheme (HVRAS) accredits persons to inspect and measure motor vehicles more than 4.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) and trailers more than 750kg Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) before a truck, trailer or motorhome can be registered in Queensland.

This is to ensure that these vehicles comply with:

  • Dimensional limits
  • Approved load sharing axle systems
  • Safe tyre limits
  • Vehicle identifiers (engine number, VIN, chassis number, modification plates)

The HVRAS check involves measuring and checking of weights, and all vehicle identifiers as per Queensland Transport requirements.  So if you own a truck, trailer, caravan or motorhome and it’s not currently registered, you will need a HVRAS inspection completed.

PROCHECK Automotive is fully accredited to carry out HVRAS inspections, saving you the time and hassles of taking your vehicle to Queensland Transport.  Our service can measure vehicles over 4.5 tonnes GVM and trailers more than 750kg ATM, including:-

  • Rigid trucks, prime movers, semi trailers, pig trailers, dog trailers, motorhomes, caravans
  • Camper trailers, buses (10 seat), concrete pumps, special purpose vehicles including cranes
